Looks like the Greeks were here, Agrigento

Our first historical stop was to the Valley of the Temples which is the largest archaeological site in the world with 1,300 hectares (but not really a valley). It's position looking out on the Mediterranean Sea however is spectacular.  It was built in the 5th century BC.
